What is this Initiative about?

Busy Bee Cleaning proudly presents Cleaning for a Purpose, an initiative aimed at providing free cleaning services to those in need within our community. Our program focuses on supporting older adults over the age of 65 who have spent more than three months in hospital or nursing home, as well as cancer patients who may find it challenging to maintain a clean living space. We offer both standard and deep cleaning services to restore cleanliness and comfort to their homes. This initiative reflects our core values of compassion, excellence, and integrity, showcasing our commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of our community.

Why This Initiative Matters

Today, many older adults and cancer patients struggle with the physical demands of maintaining a clean home. A clean space is more than just a comfort, it has significant physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Cleaning for a Purpose aims to alleviate this burden by offering free one time cleaning services, helping to create healthier, more comfortable environments for those who need it most. In a study conducted by Zurich Insurance surveying 1,000 people, cleaning was ranked as the second most dreaded task for Irish people. When combined with health challenges, the difficulty of keeping a clean home is amplified. Through this initiative, Busy Bee Cleaning is stepping up to fill this gap, providing essential cleaning services to improve the quality of life for older adults, cancer patients, and their families.

Services Offered

Standard Cleaning

Includes general tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning kitchens, living room and bathrooms.

General Deep Cleaning

A more comprehensive service that covers scrubbing grout, cleaning inside appliances, and tackling hard-to-reach areas. (Our general deep cleaning service does not include properties considered hoarder environments or those requiring extreme or hazardous cleaning) Both services are provided as a one-time offering, and we will never ask for payment under any circumstances. This program is a part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
