Terms and Conditions – Busy Bee Cleaning
By accessing or booking a service through this website or by phone, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Booking Confirmation
- Booking a service does not guarantee the requested time/date.
- You will receive confirmation via email or phone. We reserve the right to modify the appointment if necessary.
2. Payments
- Payments are required upon confirmation of booking.
- We accept payments via bank transfer and credit card.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes.
- Late cancellations result in a non-refundable €50 fee.
- Clients may reschedule up to 5 times. Beyond that, a new deposit is required.
4. Cleaning Services
- All cleaning appointments are non-refundable. If cancelled, a credit will be added to your account for future use.
- Credits are non-transferable and must be used within a reasonable time.
5. Our Team
- We assign professional teams based on property size and job complexity.
- All staff undergo background checks and professional training.
6. Right to Refuse Service
- We may refuse or cancel service due to safety concerns, inappropriate conduct, or unsanitary conditions.
- If cleaners leave the site due to such concerns, the €50 cancellation fee applies.
7. Cleaning Expectations
- We may take before-and-after photos for quality control.
- Clients are encouraged to tidy up personal items prior to our arrival.
8. Additional Services (Extra Charges Apply)
Services include but are not limited to:
- Eco-friendly products
- Interior windows, fridge, oven, cabinets
- Pet hair removal
- Shower/tub mold removal
- Carpet and mattress cleaning
9. Pets
- We work around pets, but safety is a priority.
- Aggressive or anxious pets may require removal from cleaning areas.
10. Service Pricing
- Prices may vary based on property size and actual job requirements.
- Any adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon before starting the service.
11. Refund Policy
- No monetary refunds are issued.
- If dissatisfied, contact us within 24 hours for a complimentary re-clean.
12. Complaints
- Must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of service completion.
- We aim to respond within 7 business days.
13. Recurring Services
- Discounts apply after the initial clean.
- Skipped appointments may affect your discounted rate.
14. Lockouts
- A €50 fee applies if we are locked out or denied access on arrival.
15. Alarm Systems
- Provide alarm codes or disable systems during scheduled cleaning.
16. Client Equipment
- We are not liable for damages when using client-provided vacuums or products.
17. Items Not Covered
- We do not handle hazardous materials, mold remediation, or extreme hoarding conditions.
18. Safety Restrictions
- Cleaners do not climb ladders or move items over 35 lbs.
19. Damage or Loss
- We are insured for accidental damage.
- Notify us of any breakage or loss within 24 hours.
20. Arrival Times
- Exact times are not guaranteed. We’ll notify you of delays due to traffic or weather.
21. Inclement Weather
- Services may be rescheduled during unsafe weather conditions.
22. Keys
- Clients must provide safe key access. We recommend using a lockbox.
23. Non-Solicitation
- Clients agree not to hire our staff directly.
Commercial Clients
1. Payment Terms
- Payments are due upon invoicing.
- Late payments incur fees per the Irish Prompt Payment of Accounts Act.
2. Collection and Legal Action
- We reserve the right to recover overdue payments through legal means.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
