Terms and Conditions for the Cleaning for a Purpose Programme

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. The program is open to individuals aged 65 or older who have spent more than three months in a hospital or nursing/care home.
  2. Cancer patients currently undergoing or recently completed treatment are also eligible.
  3. Caregivers may apply on behalf of the eligible individual.

Proof of Eligibility:

  1. Applicants or their next of kin may be required to provide:
    • A letter from the hospital or care home confirming the length of stay for individuals aged 65 or older.
    • A medical letter or proof of cancer diagnosis from a registered medical professional for cancer patients.
  2. Applicants must be willing to provide this documentation upon request.

Random Selection Process:

  1. Each month, one person will be randomly selected from eligible applicants to receive the free cleaning service.
  2. The random selection ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all participants.

Confidentiality and GDPR Compliance:

  1. Busy Bee Cleaning takes data protection and confidentiality seriously. All personal data, including medical information, will be collected, stored, and processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  2. Information will be used solely for verifying eligibility and managing the program, and will be stored securely with restricted access to authorized personnel.
  3. All personal data will be deleted once the purpose for its collection has been fulfilled.

Application Process:

  1. Applications must be submitted via our website
  2. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be rejected.

Limitations of Service:

  1. The program provides a one-time standard or deep cleaning service per selected individual. This service is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed more than once.
  2. Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to schedule and reschedule the cleaning service at a mutually convenient time, based on staff availability.

No Payment Required:

  1. Under no circumstances will Busy Bee Cleaning request or accept payment for services rendered under this program. This initiative is part of our social responsibility commitment.

Right to Modify or Discontinue the Program:

  1. Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Cleaning for a Purpose program at any time. If the program is discontinued, those already selected will still receive their scheduled services.

Responsibilities of the Applicant:

  1. Applicants and their representatives must provide truthful and accurate information during the application process.
  2. By applying, applicants agree to these terms and conditions and consent to the collection and processing of their personal data for program-related purposes.

Non-Discrimination Policy:

  1. Busy Bee Cleaning practices non-discrimination in the selection of applicants, ensuring fairness regardless of race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.
